Cannot Access Droplet via Remote Desktop Connection

i Cannot Access Droplet via Remote Desktop Connection After 4 Days of my Droplet running a windows server 2022, Today it does not allow me to connect via RDP. for 4 days it was smooth in and out on rdp but today when I wake up. I cannot log in anymore. and i can acces it normally using the recivery console that built in on the website all the rdp settings and port are open i check them time and time again

Hi there,

What I could suggest here is to make sure that you are using the correct port. You could use the following command:

netstat -plant | grep LISTEN

And make sure that you are using the correct port in your client.

By default this should be 3389.

Heya @sophiatrafliod,

First make sure you can ping the Droplet and see if it’s online. Next you can try rebooting it to see if that would help and lastly there have been cases before where the Port has been denied so it’s a good idea to contact DigitalOcean’s support and see if that’s the case now.
