Hi, I’m new to DigitalOcean and Linux, thanks for your help!
I’m trying to upload my SSH key to the DigitalOcean server using command
doctl compute ssh-key create <key-name> [flags]
I got a question about this [flags], apparently, I need to pass my public SSH key into this [flags], but what’s the format of it? I mean do I just input
doctl compute ssh-key create my-key-name <SSH KEY content>
or should I input
doctl compute ssh-key create my-key-name --public-key <SSH KEY CONTENT>
and for the SSH KEY content, mine is something like this:
ssh-rsa <a long string> username@hostname
My question is, which part is the ssh-key that I should upload? the <a long string> or the whole string? Because I noticed that there are spaces between these three parts.
Really looking for your help! Thank you so much!
Regards, Xi

I got it, I need to have all the content, and the --public-key, and use “” to include the content
