I have already added A record for for www and @
When I try to open www.example.com it opens but when I open example.com is does not respond

Hi there,
Once you add the DNS record, keep in mind that it might take up to 24 hours for the DNS cache to clear over the Globe before you could see the new DNS records.
Can you confirm if it’s been more than 24 hours already?
