Question

Telegram webhook doesn't work with function on DigitalOcean

Created a bot in telegram, set “webhook.site” as webhook for bot, works well, change webhook to function url - no invocations in logs, try to do request manually through postman - works fine, trying to repeat request that I see on “webhook.site” - function works fine, but when request goes from telegram, noting in logs + no errors in bot webhook info.

Hey!

What I could suggest there is to try and add some additional logging within your DigitalOcean function.

That way you can try to log every incoming request to understand if the function is being triggered but failing somewhere during execution.

exports.handler = async (event) => {
    console.log("Received event:", JSON.stringify(event, null, 2));
    // Your code logic here
    return {
        statusCode: 200,
        body: JSON.stringify('Hello from your DigitalOcean function!'),
    };
};

That way you can also verify if the problem is with the network connectivity or something within the function itself.

Let me know how it goes!

Best,

Bobby
