I know that there is a great article about setting up a MySQL database as a SAML Service Provider (SP) if one is running MySQL oneself on a DigitalOcean droplet: https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-install-and-configure-simplesamlphp-for-saml-authentication-on-ubuntu-16-04
But if one is instead using DO-managed MySQL database clusters is there some way to use those DBs as SAML SPs?

Hi there,
I’ve not tested this out personally but as far as I can tell from the guide, there are no configuration changes required to the database itself.
So in theory this should work out of the box with the default MySQL configuration that comes with the managed clusters.
Did you get any errors when you tried to set that up by any chance?
Best,
Bobby
