  1. if I reorganise my web site files, is it okay to reuse SSLCertificateFile & SSLCertificateKeyFile in the myDomain.com-le-ssl.config and just modify the directory info

  2. I have .conf files & certificates for myDomain.com, myDomain.net, do I need to create a certificate for 000-default-le-ssl.conf?

  3. Do I need 000-default-le-ssl.conf?

Heya @fingers,

Yes, it is possible. Basically, in your Nginx/Apache conf you state the file of your SSL certificate.

The path of your certificate, key and CA should be added/updated in your 000-default-le-ssl.conf conf, if your listen 443 is there.

If you are feeling uncertain you can always paster your 000-default.conf and 000-defualt-le-ssl.con for me to check them.

Hi there,

Yep, it should be OK to reuse the certificates! Alternatively, you could also re-run the certbot command to generate new certificates as well. Both options should be completely valid.

You do not need to manually create the SSL conf, it will be generated by the certbot command.

If you already have separate Vhost conf files for your two domains, you don’t need the default one and you can disable it.

Let me know if you have any further questions!

Best,

Bobby
