How can we received notification if a Managed Database version was updated?

We would like to know if there is any form of support where we can be notified if a managed database (e.g. Postgres) version is updated?

Since this is DigitalOcean managed database we assume that you might be constantly update the version of Postgres Database.

And would mean that our production database version will follow that version. By this we would like to be notified so we can sync and increment the version of our local/development postgres database.

It would be nice to have this support.

Hi there @roelzkie28,

As far as I know, there isn’t a system in place to automatically get a notification when the version is changed.

However, using the official API, you can poll the engine and engine version being used in your cluster. You could set up an automatic check to hit the API roughly 4 hours after your scheduled maintenance time to check if the version has changed.
