Question

How is the GPU VPS initialized?

I asked on many forums, but couldn’t find an answer. I want to share GPU for virtual servers (VPS) using vmWARE or Hyper-V.

How to share GPU for virtual machines to create GPU VPS like the website I am linking to? I have tried using Hyper-v on Windows Server operating system but all failed.

Example: If I buy GPU Server from above website, how do I share it to virtual machines.

Hello!

In addition to what has already been mentioned, regarding GPU usage, DigitalOcean Droplets traditionally do not come with GPU capabilities.

However, DigitalOcean has recently partnered with Paperspace to offer GPU-based virtual machines. Paperspace provides powerful GPU resources suitable for tasks requiring high-end graphics processing. You can explore this new offering for GPU capabilities and find detailed specifications at DigitalOcean’s Paperspace page.

If GPU processing is a critical aspect of your application, this new integration could be an ideal solution.

Best,

Bobby

Hey @03ee45765f2ef12aeda442b1cc80ab,

I don’t think you can share GPU from a Droplet to be honest. You can share RAM and CPU but you can’t GPU. The website you’ve provided is a cloud hosting which has VPS/Droplets which have only CPU and RAM. To achieve that you can use Stuff like KVM, VMware and so on. It really depends on how you want to achieve it.
