I use Firefox and Chrome on a Windows 11 full-featured laptop (Dell G7). Both browsers exhibit the same challenge, which I explain below.
Is there a way to change the console’s background to white? These days, many sites display text in various colors, some very light (like pastels). Soft colors are often so light that they frequently get absorbed by the console’s black background. For example, light blue can hardly be seen on black, but it works fine on white.
I have tried changing the browsers’ background settings, but that isn’t helping. So, I must be overlooking an option somewhere - perhaps in CSS. Can you set me straight?
I should mention that I use the Digital Ocean console every day. I find it very effective.
Thanks for reading this message. I look forward to any help you can provide.

Heya @wtrenker,
This is not possible at this time. While you can suggest it at the ideas board https://ideas.digitalocean.com/ you can possible change the theme on your browser somehow to reflect that color on the console.
Hey @wtrenker,
I don’t think that this is possible at the moment.
The best thing to do to get your voice heard regarding this would be to head over to our Product Ideas board and post a new idea, including as much information as possible for what you’d like to see implemented.
Another option in the meantime is to use SSH instead of the web console. This will give you more control over the SSH client that you use:
Hope that helps!
