Question

how to determine which firewall my previous business partner used on our droplets

Not exactly sure how to handle this. My business partner of over 20 years died recently. he set up the droplets and showed me how to get to the firewall, at least a couple years ago… since then i’ve completely lost where it is.

I’ve checked webmin and it’s not there, I also show no firewalls set up and frankly I’m lost, but I need to get access. I can SSH in, but I need to get in with my VPN in case I lose my IP address and I need help ASAP

Disregard, I found it. Seems it’s not configured in webmin but running iptables -L shows the settings
