Hi, I’ve got a laravel app running OK (in that the PHP returns the correct landing page and it connects to the DB).
However, when I log into the app platform console to run “npm run prod” in the views directory, I get:
npm: command not found
Can anyone help please?

Hi @andrewpnlp
Node and NPM will be installed only if you have the files
package.json
andpackage-lock.json
in your repo.If your app doesn’t have any Node.js dependencies, you can run
npm init
and thennpm install
to generate empty but validpackage.json
andpackage-lock.json
files.Ah Ok,I’ll create a top-level package.json and package-lock.json, although they’ll remain basically empty. Thanks - appreciate the quick and helpful response!
