How to set up Point - In - Time recovery in Managed Postgres?

Hi, as I was looking into different ways of improving reliability and security of data stored in our database, I examined ways to set backups via integration with SnapShooter, however, I want to take advantage of PostgreSQL’s WAL file to be able to recover database in case of critical corruption, up to the last valid transaction to ensure data integrity and avoid any losses.

Any suggestions how to get started?

Hey!

You should be able to do that by following the steps from the ‘How to Fork a PostgreSQL Database Cluster’ docs guide here:

When choosing the state, you can select Point in Time. This state creates a copy of your database as of a specific point in time within the last 7 days:
