Question

Trying to set up wordpress site

Hi, I’m trying to set up my wordpress site. I clicked “get started”, quick access to wordpress > # Please log into your Droplet with SSH to configure the WordPress installation. And it just gives instructions but I’m not understanding how to log in. I already posted name servers from GoDaddy, I have a domain already, etc. Any information/insight into this would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Heya @andrewilliano,

In order to login you need to SSH to your Droplet. There are a couple of ways to go about this but given that you might not be acquinted with SSH or don’t have an available program you can use the DigitalOcean WebConsole:

https://docs.digitalocean.com/products/droplets/how-to/connect-with-console/

Once inside you can follow the instructions on how to proceed.

Hey!

In order to access your Droplet, you need to use an SSH client. Here is a step by step guide on how to do that:

https://docs.digitalocean.com/products/droplets/how-to/connect-with-ssh/

Also, you can follow this tutorial here on how to exactly use the WordPress 1-Click installation from the Marketplace:

Let me know if you have any questions!

Best,

Bobby
