Question

twilio/sendgrid did not approve my account, why?

Apparently DO does not offer sending smtp through their services and they supposedly “partner” with twilio/sendgrid. However, this is half true up until the point of account creation. I went through the steps and they did not create/approve my account: "Twilio Support (SendGrid)

I have a legit account with DO and I am trying to use a service to send email. I already tried with mailjet with no luck either. Maileroo requires you to NOT be on a vpn and I am yet to try postmark or others but I wanted to ask here first before even attempting with another relay service. Sorry if it sounds like complaining but Im really not. I am just trying to get info on what would be the best service to use, me being a DO customer.

What would be the best workaround? Move my money to a different vps provider or? Thanks for any help.

Heya,

Sorry to hear about that!

Have you tried to expand more on what your App will be about and why you need mail service?

Additionally, I highly recommend using port 587 instead of 25. It’s usual for port 25 to be blocked as that is unauthenticated mail that will be send out. Using Authentication with port 587 should do the trick for you.
